Nissan Magnite Celebrates 1st Anniversary In Nepal With 1499 Units On The Road

The Nissan Magnite sub-compact SUV has been a gamechanger for Nissan Nepal ever since its launch in the Nepalese market. The Magnite which is celebrating its first anniversary in the Nepalese market has now gone on to receive 2226 bookings with 1499 units of the sub-compact SUV already on the road within such a short period.In the Nepalese market, the Nissan Magnite sub-compact SUV is being offered in four trims - XE (Base), XL (Mid), XV (Upper), and the XV (Premium) in a total of 11 variants. The Magnite is available with two engine options. These include a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine that puts out 71 BHP and 96 Nm and a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder turbo petrol unit that makes 99 BHP and 160 Nm. Both engines are offered with a 5-speed manual transmission.Also, the India-spec Nissan Magnite has scored impressive four-star safety ratings in the latest crash tests conducted by Global NCAP under its Safer Cars For India campaign.
